Frequently Asked Questions What type of connector should I choose? With the variety of routers, bridges and access points available these days, it's no wonder that figuring which connector they are using is so confusing. Connex Wireless has a Connector Identifier that will help you figure out which one is right for you.
How far will these antennas reach? The Connex Wireless antennas are engineered to give peak performance given optimal conditions. Certain factors beyond our control will inhibit an antenna's abilities to broadcast a strong signal. Some of these include poor location of the antenna in relation to where you are wanting to receive the signal, noise and manufacturing restrictions of the electronics they are hooked up to. Generally speaking, the APXtender antennas offered on Connex Wireless are meant to perform well in a standard sized building up to about 6000 square feet. Larger buildings may require additional equipment and antennas in order to distribute a strong, even signal. Q-bridgeTM antennas will have a range of up to 4 miles. If at any time you are unsure of the type of antenna that will work for your application, feel free to contact tech support with a detailed description of the type of application you are trying to work with and we will offer suggestions to you.
